JustJen8 Junior Member (female) Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: NY state Posts: 40	what causes an aortic aneurysm? My aunt had an abdominal aortic aneurysm which was repaired with a graft. How common is this, and what causes it? edit: adding some information- in her case, it presented with abdominal and leg pain, and upon discovery of the aneurysm surgery was done almost immediately.
