| aneurysm in spleen
I was recently diagnosed with Pleurisy and as a result of the CT scan an aneurysm was found in my spleen. I have pain in my left side about waistline and pain in my left shoulder. I also have nausea. The aneurysm is 13mm x 15mm. The report from the hospital indicated this is fairly common and I should get another CT in about a year. However, I would like another opinion. I am a 68 year old female with a history of a pulmonary embolism in 2003. I was on coumadin for 3 years until I experienced a life threatening nose bleed. I do have hypertension that has been controlled but I have noticed elevated numbers in the last couple of weeks.
I am scared out of my mind and need someone who has had this experience to talk to. I want to have this thing out but wonder about life after the excision. Any thoughts or experiences?
