Newbie...rant - Anger Management Message Board

Hi board,
I have utterly no idea where to start but today a doctor who I saw for tmj, asked me why I get so angry sometimes.
I never realized before today that there might be something wrong in my behavior, since I saw the doc only for the second time and I have not gotten angry with her (yet?)
She advised me to go see psychologist for anger management and low self esteem

I have no clue where to begin as I get ticked off for the most insane stuff, last night I got so angry because there where soooo many commercials on tv....

But I don't feel like exposing my self to examination by a psychologist, "So tell me again. Why did you break your brothers nose?"

I guess this isn't really standard behavior?

wow yea if u are getting angry to the point of raging becuz there are too many commercials on tv then yea i'd say that u do need to look into either getting some help or yourself doing some serious self examinations to see where your rage is coming from.

I also have really bad rages for the littlest things. I do see a psychologist and we are working thru it trying to find where all of my anger comes from. I know its really hard to bring yourself to seeing a "psycho-dr" but its also much harder (at least i think) trying to figure out your anger by yourself.

Another thing- some forms of depression comes out not in saddness but in intesense anger. so thats another thing u might want to think about.

Have u ever hurt anyone or yourself due to your extreme anger?
