Don't forget that anger is a PHYSICAL THING. You don't have to be angry "about" anything, just as you don't have to be depressed "about" something. It's an organic disorder as well as an emotional one - you can't separate them!!!
I have dealt with anger in many ways, and I'm still trying. Anti-depressants help, avoidance of certain foods (especially chocolate), getting enough sleep, avoiding toxic people, quitting jobs that are making me miserable, doing yoga, meditation, etc. I don't watch the news, either. You need to try EVERYTHING you can.
Just don't think of yourself as a bad person because you're angry. Anyone who isn't angry these days isn't paying attention. But you need to manage it, and if I can manage it, anyone can!! Good luck.
