Flashes of rage

I wondered if anyone has any techniques for preventing or ameliorating flashes of rage. They can come over me, usually started by something that's admittedly highly irritating.

Re: Flashes of rage

A deep breath and count to 10.
Re-evaulate the situation and try to realize its not worth getting mad over.

Sounds cliche, but it might be a perfect solution for you.

Cheers

Re: Flashes of rage

I had been getting those flashes.Im under alot of stress selling my home and raising a 3 1/2 German Shepard pup who is not an easy pup compared to previous pups that I have had.I feel like my blood pressure spike's and thats when I get those flashes. For mr I take a medication called Inderal which holds the blood pressure in check and helps with the physical sign's of stress which usually trigger's those hot flashe's for me.There are better ways to get rid of anger flashe's and for me its lifting weights and exercising.
