Me ad my boyfriend nearly split up today because he's scared of me when i get angry, I 'go off my head' for nothing and get so angry that i start hitting things and trying to throw him out and tell him not to bother coming back then when i calm down and we talk about it he tells me the things i said and done but i dont remember saying or doing some of them.
you need to keep silent when it happens...and drink water immediately...it helps in coolong down...and if you cant control it...leave the location...and tell your bf that you cant talk ryt now..m sure he'll understand..gud luck
i don't understand the previous poster suggesting you need water, you don't need water
you need to dig deep inside and find the real source of why you have so much anger.
Once you do deal with why you have so much anger then you eill be able to deal with it. If you can't do this on your own, there is help out there, you need to ask for it. It's so easy to keep silent and leave the location, then how will you learn to deal?
I think Anger Management classes would help you immensely, both now and in the long run.
Why not address it right away, and learn some proven techniques to manage your anger, to learn your triggers, and to learn other communication tools. I think your question is posed, and you have the answer. I applaud you for that.
Learning these skills now will block you from a lifelong buildup of anger and rage, and all the consequences that come along the way. Letting go of anger is a skill, and bottling it up causes serious health concerns. There is nothing wrong with seeking out new skills in life, to make your life better.
You should probably just logically tell yourself not to get angry and calm yourself down whenever you know you are getting angry. And everybody can tell once they start to get angry and lose control... becaues everybody does it.
