kenkeith im not sleeping and having palpatations and angina

kenkeith im having sleeping problems and some palpatations and some angina with my heart muscles feeling sore im sleeping about 3 or 4 hours a night and worn out during the day with my chest hurting been going on for about 2 weeks now bobby says i tos and turn i take my verapamil and my inderal and i take my clonipam even if i take 2 its not working call dr. mike or not.? what do you think. thanks susan kay

Hi Susan Kay,

Sorry to hear you are in a pattern of distress.

Unless you are calm mentally before your night's sleep, the probability a good sound sleep may not exist.

Only sleeping 3-4 hours is not enough and that will be an unsettling factor during the day causing sleep disturbances at night. Your medication should calm your mood and relieve any distress. If that is not happening, yes, you should call dr. mike and make medication adjustments. It is not healthy to have only a few hours of sleep, and then have problems during the day. Pardon the cliche but that is a vicious cycle and can cause serious medical problems.
