angina pain with anemia?
I was just wondering-- even though I was anemic for 13 years and am supposedly not anymore, I always have angina chest pains. Are these pains associated with low iron? Does anyone else get angina pains? I've read that some members get heart palps with anemia. I did have a thallium stress test about a year ago which was normal, but never did get rid of the angina. Any relation?

When my anemia gets bad, I do get chest pains.

I don't know if it's related, but when my hemoglobin goes up, the chest pain goes away, so it's got to have something to do with it.

I have both! I think mine anemia was caused by taking the anti-arrhythmias med. I went thro - stress test, echo and angiogram. It sound pretty normal but I have a pacemaker before the anemia. I really don't know my chest pain is caused by anemia or my poor heart? Or may be gastric pain?
