I have 3 stents inserted on 2 occasions. The first one was done in the AM and I was released the same day and back to work the next. The second two stents were inserted during an angiogram and I was released from hospital the next day. I noticed the most difference with the 2 stents in being able to do things without angina. I also have COPD so have breathing problems not related to coronary.
I am wondering how the DRs decided you needed stents. If it was during an angiogram why didn’t they insert them at that time?
