I would wonder if this esophageal pain rather than angina. You have had this for almost 40 years and angina rarely starts at age 31, let alone continuing this long without a heart attack. I would have my GI tract checked out for hiatal lernia, reflux, esophageal spasm. Next time you get the pain, I would try a liquid antacid, and if that helps, it is likely reflux of gastric acid up into the esophagus. What does your Dr think it is from?
