gone 2 the docs for anxiety, just waiting on results, but did a personality test off the net and it said i have very high paranoia
i kinda figured this out anyway.
can anyone suggest a board that talks about this?

Dear fuelie,
You are on it now. Also the panic disorder topic on this board. Paranoia is a response to anxiety and panic. You should seek therapy for this before medication since you are more in the phobic stage of anxiety. Post your fears and the CBT therapy people can assist you as well as we that have very high paranoia.
how long have you had anxiety?
are there stages in anxiety? or were u just tryin to say that it is another 'part' of having anxiety
i have always been paranoid
that isnt a surprise
its just that it has gotten worse over the last month or so
i am hopefully going to a therapist in the near future
i really need to get a handle on this as it is wreaking my life
i am pushing my friends away (that has happened a few times before)
and i am always upset or frustrated with myself

Dear fuelie_9,
My first anxiety attack was 22 years ago and I suffer from severe panic attacks. My problems are brought on by PTSD and injuries, so you are not in this catagory. What I was trying to say is that being paranoid is very common with anxiety and actually is probably the cause of your anxiety. Your anxiety can probably be corrected by adjusting to a positive outlook and goals to reach that. Billy7772 and some others on the board are very familiar with CBT therapy which seems to be a possible answer for you. They may not be on the board right now but if you keep posting for "CBT" help they will come to your rescue. This type of therapy is having great results and I would like to see you nip this in the bud before your paranoia gets out of hand. I wish I could help you more and I know what it is like to be very paranoid. Ask their help. Be well
