anxiety as i go to sleep - Anxiety Message Board

i was just wondering lately i've been suffering from anxiety problems and panic attacks and they seem to be the worse when i drift off to sleep..i am usually only asleep 10 to 20 minutes before im awaken..i just wake up really suddenly and my heart is beating sooooo fast and im very very dizzy and disorientated..i have to walk around or get a drink to feel normal agian..this problem is making it really hard to get sleep which is probably making my problem worse anyway im just wondering if this is anxiety related or if i should tell my doctor about it..im currently on Hydroxyzine for my anxiety and it helps a tiny bit anyway thanks in advance for anyone whos experiencing the same thing or knows about it
