| Trying to help my nephew
My nephew is 11 years old and has some strange behaviors that he is not growing out of. Sometimes when he comes to our house he will not eat, even if he is with us for 12 hours or more. Once he told me his mom didn't say it was okay that's why he won't eat. Yesterday I took the kids and him to the pool and he wouldn't get in, he said he has been swimming alot lately and didn't feel like it. He sat for 2 1/2 hours next to the pool while the other kids played and had a great time. When I went to his mom's work to drop him off he acted as though he didn't want me to talk to her and twice he said thanks for the ride on the way in. His mother was upset with him and he nearly started crying when she questioned him. Could he have anxiety problems? I just want to help him.
