I'm just curious if anyone else has actually fainted. I know most of us feel lightheadedness, but I have completly passed out several times now. My last fainting episode was around Easter...I thought these "spells" were finally over and then I fainted again last night. I know I've been told my severe lightheadedness/dizziness is due to anxiety...so I'm wondering if my fainting is, too.
I am also off my thyroid medication right now...due to my upcoming 1 year scan...so I wonder if that has something to do with it.
Im defenitely not new to fainting...Have you had your blood tested for sugar levels? My problem is due to low blood sugar & possibly low blood pressure. Most of the time fainting is something small like that.
Hope I was of help!

Anyway, has anyone else fainted?
Thanks,

Hillary is right. But yes, the fainting could be related to thyroid too.
Thanks for your replys.
I have seen numerous Dr.'s about this and have undergone many tests. Nothing has been found. My cardio thought I might have Neurocardiogenic syncope, but my tilt table test was negative. I've also had many other cardiac & neurological tests. The last time this happened(in april)...I went to the ER and they ended up keeping me in the hospital for 3 days. I was hooked up to telemetry the entire time and went through 2 stress tests, an echo, EEG, MRI, MRA, and went back the following week for a heart cath. I think it's pretty safe to say my heart is fine.
I just wish I knew what is bringing these spells on. Atleast it's not happening very often.
BTW, yes my blood sugar has been tested and is normal. My bp does run a little low...maybe this is part of the cause.
Thanks again~
