Topamax?
Has anyone ever heard of this to treat axiety? My psyc. prescribed it to me, but I am scared to take it, because I haven't heard anything about it. When I look it up on line it talks about it being to prevent seizures. If anyone has any experience with this medicine, please let me know. Thanks so much!

these antisiezure and anticonvulsant meds are being heavily advertised for treatment of panic attacks

I would be reluctant to take it unless other meds have been tried and not helped

In the past I have tried paxil, zoloft,wellbutrin, and just recently prosaic, that is why he prescriped that one I think. He was going to do zoloft, then wellbutrin, but I told him that I had taken them in the past with no results!
