Could anyone tell me what this is. I sometimes get this strange feeling in lower throat, upper chest area. Feels like somthing is vibrating or moving there. It lasts for only a second or two. I can then feel my heart pound because I'm surprised or scared at what is happening. I don't get dizzy, nothing hurts, just a strange sensation. Does not happen very often. Mainly notice it when sitting. Never seem to notice it when I'm doing something. Kinda feels like a burp or gas or something.Hard to describe. I've been pretty anxious here lately but this just happens all at once, nervous or not. Any ideas? I ofetn experince strange muscle spasms sometimes too. Thanks.

Re: sensations

i pretty much have the same thing. it feels like tiny little bubbles rolling up the back of my throat. i have been dealing with anxiety and panic attacks for about 9 months now and since my anxiety started i have noticed that i have indigestion and gas 10 times worse than before. usually when i get those feelings in my throat that is when my indigestion is at its worst. burping usually helps stop the feelings.

Re: sensations

I know what youre going thru also. I have had horrible (sorry for be disgusting) belching episodes with my panic and anxiety. I will burb like every 30 seconds and my stomach feel so empty. I get wierd vibrating sensation down in my stomach and different parts alkong my chest. At first I thought my heart was doing something wierd becuase it would always pound right after becuase the sensation really are wierd. It does feel like a vibration. Anyway I wore a 24 hour holter moniter to see if it was my heart or gerd etc. but I wont have the results till next week. I have been having really bad indegestion and other stomach symtpoms lately which makes me suspicous that these sensation are coming from that. I still get these senstation though and my stomach still feels like crap. The conclusion will come when I get the results back.
