Lexapro
I have been on Lexapro now for about 5weeks, the first 2 at 10mg and the last three at 15mg. Is it uncommon for this med to not kick in for a longer period of time or could I need a stronger dose? As yet I can't say that I feel any relief. I am self-employed and subject to a great deal of stress at this time.

They say about 6 weeks...I moved to 20 mg's-10 in the early morning and 10 late afternoon.It has really made adifference for me.I am also super stressed and suffer from anxiety and take meds to help.Lexapro has been a great help to me,but remember we all are different with SSRI"S,Benzo's etc.Give it a full chance!
