anyone troubled by escalators

problems using escalators are common for anxiety sufferers
the shiny silver finish on many reflects the light causing glare

there can be a feeling of being trapped and on show, similar to stagefright

I had lots of problems on long escalarors at underground railway stations, becoming dizzy when looking down and needing a firm grip on the handgrip, it was always a relief to get off

Re: anyone troubled by escalators

When I was little, I saw a little old lady's dress get caught in the bottom of on of those things at bloomingdales. That enough scared me to death, let alone my problems with a weird sense of movement on things. Especially in elevators, the worst ones are in hospitals, they move so fast!
