Hi folks!

I'm 27 years old. I've been using the 10mg start-up dose of Celexa for the past 3 nights, and this morning I came uncomfortably close to vomiting. My doctor told me that at 10mg, I wasn't supposed to feel anything. But yesterday I had hives and PVCs (skipped heart beats), and today, bad nausea. I can't imagine what it will do to me when I increase my dosage to 20mg in 4 days!

Anybody else have had side effects at 10mg of Celexa?

IMO celexa isnt for you, your side effects do happen, especially to anxious people but sadly most docs dont know about them

celexa is a prozac or SSRI type antidepressant so I would avoid all the rest of these, there are other types you could try such as effexor and mirtazepine, try also to get some valium type meds

with celexa, 5 mg for the first week would have been better, IMO
