Im just curious if anyone has tried pursuing getting on some kind of disability?....Is it possible?
I'm in the process now and they really send u through the ringer. I have PTSD from a major car accident and then my brothers sudden death. I'll keep u posted. My psych's taking his time sending in my records, so therefore, i called an complained today, hopefully he will do it soon.
Interesting......good luck Andrea....I know there's gotta be more out there..anyone?
I was talking to someone about disability and they told me once you get it you can never work again. Is this true? I'm 31 and can't work at all right now due to anxiety. But I do want to be able to go back once I have it under control.
I have bills and no money..what can I do??

Untrue rose 30, they were wrong. You can work, but its limited. I am on full disability, but I do work a P/T job. You can work F/T as well, but only 9 consecutive or non-consecutive weeks. You can work as much P/T as you want. Hope this helps,

ThankYou, how would I go about looking into this?
who would I have to contact?
Unsure about your question, but will assume you are interested in receiving Social Security Disability for your anxiety disorder. I'll start by saying that I don't believe many people are approved for that particular disorder. Many people are not approved the first time they apply either, they generally have to submit an appeal. I was approved in about a years time, which is really quick, for Schizophrenia. With this in mind, Your first step would be to call your local Social Security Office and set up an appointment. At the appointment , you will receive the application and a case worker to help you fill it out. As I said at the top, I was unsure as to your question. If you already receive SSDI, and want to know about working on SSDI, then just call the Social Seacurity office and they will give you a pamphlet stating the rules about working on SSDI. I hope this has helped. Any more questions, feel free to post them here again. Good Luck Rose!
