Hi, I was just wondering, could 1 pill of diazepam cause you a little paranoia?
I went to see my GP today, she says that it's common for people with extreme anxiety to have paranoia...? And that it's also possible that diazepam caused it. I did experiance paranoia a few days after taking the pill and a month on, I still get it from time to time. Never had this before the pill.
anxious people do sometimes get strange thougts but these are very different from paranoia, anxiety generally doesnt lead to any worse mental problems, so your doc is misusing the word paranoia
valium can have many and varied side effects and it can take you a while to get used to it, what is your dose?
keep taking it as its a very useful med and the first choice of several psychiatrists who specialise in anxiety
