 Paxil/Lexapro dosage equivalent?
Hi - I recently started taking Lexapro, and I was wondering if anyone knows how dosage amounts compare to Paxil? A few years ago I was taking 20 mg of Paxil. My doctor gave me 10 mg tablets of Lexapro with no instructions to split them, so I assumed 10 mg of Lexapro was about as strong as 20 mg of Paxil. But I just read that 20 mg of Paxil is equivalent to only 5 mg of Lexapro. Does anyone know anything about this? 20 mg of Paxil worked great, and I don't want to over-medicate myself.
