And I was doing so well...

I was playing dodgeball this evening (through my old University, Ben Stiller has a lot to answer for) and halfway through I get a palpitation (y'know the one where it feels like 1 super strong heartbeat and just instinctively your hand reaches for your heart...)

Anyway, after that I was doing nothing but concentrate on that and my pulse rate - couple of minute later I get a rising tightening feeling inside my lower chest (which just happens to be the exact feeling I felt before my first panic attack over a year ago) and that's it I'm done for the day, can't really relax.

One good thing to come out of it is that I didn't have a panic attack, or a heart attack or pass out or anything other than now feeling really jittery and jumpy but I was genuinely feeling so much better about my life and possible future (even contemplating being alive at one point made me certain that I was going to die soon, so this is definitely better).

Dammit - tomorrow is day 1 again I guess, though maybe a better starting point than before.

Just remember anxiety symptoms can never hurt you. Just becuase you have a heart palpitation doesnt mean you had a set back. Everyone gets them and you prolly were just exctied playing dodge ball. If your making progress keep on it and dont let anything slow it down. Good luck!

I waw just stupidly knackered, but since then I've been slowly convincing myself that there's something wrong again, instead of it just being alittle niggling thought that there MIGHT be something wrong

Oh well, day at a time and all that
