Scalp pain? - Anxiety Message Board

I get this pain quite often but I'm not sure if it qualifies as a head ache. My scalp hurts!! If I touch it it feels like it is bruised or that there is a sore there. I comes and goes, usually lasts a day or two. What is this??? My mother insists it is stress related but I am not so sure...

Anyone else have this?

Try a hot oil treatment. Dry scalp or dry hair will create the symptoms you mentioned.

Yes, I ave something similar. I have a very tender spot on the top of my head. Its quite painful if I touch it, or touch my hair. it also hurts of I move the skin on my forehead. The pain is isolated in the one spot on top of my head. I have it for about 4 days now!!
