What cold meds are safe with Effexor XR? - Anxiety Message Board

I started Effexor XR about a month ago and I take 100mg a day.

I want to know what over the counter cold meds are safe with Effexor XR?

Hi soulspin. Sorry, i don't have an answer to your cold med question but I am curious...how is the Effexor working for you? I am on my second week, 75 mgs and am not feeling anything yet.

Hi, thanks for the response! Turns out I have a sinus infection so I'm on an antibiotic now.

Anyhow, I also found that 75 did nothing for me...the 100 seems to be helping. I definitely feel less anxious in situations where I before would feel very stressed. I am please with it. Best of luck to you...I'd give it a little more time. Hug.

Wonderful, thanks! Maybe after this week I'll go to 100 and see what happens. Hope you feel better soon. Sinus infections are the pits
