Well, sure - the fact that your tongue bleeds isn't "normal". Just try to take some deep breaths, and call your doctor. It isn't something you are imagining, you have a real inflammation on your tongue. We all get strange, weird things that happen to our bodies (I recently had a weird rash!).

The best way to alleviate your worry - call the doctor, get it looked at, and get it taken care of...

Hugs!!

But I did...Dr seemed to think it was insignifcant when it first appeared..and when I talked to RN a few days ago about it, she said shed leave msg for Dr - but she wont be back until the 6th. She too acted like it was no big deal. SO now what?

Wow. The title of your post- I couldn't say it any better if I tried. I agree with the possible OCD/GAD thing. I have both and not a minute goes by when some worry isn't floating through my head...
