Every week or two, I've been having this funny feeling for about 3 years. The latest: I was sitting in my art class painting not talking or anything, and all of a sudden I just sort of woke up from a daze (still in the class) and didn't know where I was. It's like I'm there but I'm just a fly on the wall, like no one can see me. It's quite hard to explain. I was watching the show, "So Weird" and the episode was on out of body experiences (I think thats what it was). Can anyone tell me more about that? And what could this strange feeling I'm having be? Oh and also... when I'm having these "feelings" no one talks to me. So I don't know if I can just snap out of it or not.
Thanx!

Oh and, I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this. I have no idea where to post it. I've been here before and thought everyone was nice so I decided to come here .
Are you saying that it is like your mind drifts off like your not there (unconcious) and then wake up (come to)? if that is how it is it could be a type of seizure ,but then it could just be nothing .....you should check with your doctor.........you could try posting what has happened to you on the epilepsy board too.I have had times where I was driving and suddenly I didnt recall driving from point A to B........my hubby says he gets this sometimes too.I have been tested for epilepsy though and it was neg so I dont know maybe stress can cause this too? .....good luck hope ya find out
If you've been having chronic anxiety, I would almost guarantee you that it's derealization/depersonalization. I'm experiencing these at this time, too. Research it, and tell us what you find. God bless!
