i think i naturally feel anxiety all day without even thinking about it because thats just the way my brain is working. is it possible for your mind to think something without actually thinking about it? i think thats called subconciously. i actually dont have panic attacks anymore, but i feel symptoms of anxiety throughout the entire day. how can you reverse the way you think when its subconcious? medication seems to be the only way to do that? anyone else understand this?

This is a good thread. It's something I've been thinking about for 5 years. It seems like all psychiatric disorders are some kind of biological defect of the mind or brain. That's why so many people need medication to alter the chemistry or shake things up in the mind to change our perceptions on reality. The only problem is that it's hard to create new medications when we don't know what is the cause of these disorders in the first place. I'm not sure we'll ever know. It's almost like taking an asprin for a headache. We know it works but don't know the cause.
