The night before last, I was completely normal and content and then all of a sudden, I just had this horrible feeling come over me. Almost like impending doom if you will... I could hardly breath, my chest hurt, and I felt scared beyond belief among other symptoms. I assume that this was a panic attack but the thing is, these feelings have not left me! Occasionally, they subside but then all of a sudden, they're back again. This has been going on for 2 days now. My sister's best friend died yesterday and my husband has been talking of suicide (we're seperated from eachother physically right now) infact, as I type this, I have no idea if he's alive or dead (he had an episode today and I haven't talked to him since). I just have so much stress right now and these feelings won't leave me. I can't eat, sleep, or think straight. I don't know how to make this feeling go away. I feel like I'm going crazy! Is it normal for panic attacks to last for days?? How do I deal with this stress?? I can't go to the doctor because I don't have health insurance.

I think you are feeling normal in light of your situation. Probably everything hitting you at once.
You can always go to the emergency room, they may give you something to help relax your nerves. Maybe give you some resources toward a sliding fee scale clinic.

I also think your feelings are normal from whats happened to you, any valium type med will help a lot by relaxing both your body and mind

people often get help from religion in your situation
