You Have To Read This, Omg... Who Knew!!!

I can not believe this!!! If any one else knew about this and did NOT share, I am going to be SOOOOO upset..."I know you wouldn't hold out "
OK, did you all know that the lack of MAGNESIUM is proven to be the problem in most of "our" problems. If you can, go get the book written by Carolyn Dean, it's called "The Miracle of Magnesium", and in it explains some crucial points of the human body and LACK of MAGNESIUM. Put it this way, I have Anxiety/ Panic, IBS & Gerd... I started taking the Magnesium today, and yes it helped that fast.... I do not have the Gerd symptoms that I usually am always well aware of, as well as the muscle twitching, and spasms of the stomach. I found this all out on another thread for digestive disorders, but they talk about anxiety in there too.

A few things that Magnesium supplements WILL help:
1. Anxiety and Panic attacks-Mg normally keeps adrenal stress hormones under control.
2. Bowel disease - Mg deficiency slows down the bowel causing constipation, which could lead to toxicity and malabsorption of nutrients, as well as colitis.
3. Depression-Serotonin, which elevates moods, is dependent on Mg. A Mg-deficient brain is also more susceptible to allergens, foreign substances that can cause symptoms similar to mental illness.
4. Fatigue- Mg-deficient patients commonly experience fatigue because dozens of enzyme systems are under-functioning. An early symptom of Mg deficiency is frequently fatigue.
5. Heart disease- Mg deficiency is common in people with heart disease. Mg is administered in hospitals for acute myocardial infarction and cardiac arrhythmia. Like any other muscle, the heart muscle requires Mg. Mg is also used to treat angina, or chest pain.
6. Insomnia- Sleep-regulating melatonin production is disturbed without sufficient Mg.
7. Nerve problems- Mg alleviates peripheral nerve disturbances throughout the whole body, such as migraines, muscle contractions, gastrointestinal spasms, and calf, foot and toe cramps. It is also used in treating central nervous symptoms of vertigo and confusion.
8. Tooth decay- Mg deficiency causes an unhealthy balance of phosphorus and calcium in saliva, which damages teeth.
AND THERE ARE SO MANY MANY MORE THAT I DIDN'T LIST THAT IS IN THAT BOOK I TOLD YOU ABOUT IN THE BEGINNING OF THIS TREAD!

Please try this guys, you can not know the how great this is, I can't even tell you in words how much better I feel... IM NOT TWITCHING, I DON'T FEEL FOGGY any more, How great is that... out of the blue, just all of a sudden... It's gone with one pill, WHO KNEW (hahahaha), I am soooo happy.
If you will, go to the Digestive board, and look at the very first one posted, that's the one I started to read, then moved onto the book, and here I am.... I hope I stay as good as I am today, this will be the miracle I have been asking GOD for, for some time now...
please keep me posted, by the way... you can buy Magnesium at any pharmacy, health food store etc...
Good luck and God bless...

Re: You Have To Read This, Omg... Who Knew!!!

Hi there !

Well...that is indeed great news.

And I'm also happy for you that it makes you feel so good.

I also take Magnesium at night.
Not everyday though, because my brand (actually all brands I've seen) requires to take 3 freakin' pills !!

I'm taking already a bunch of supplements....and sometimes I drink so much water with it, I get a balloon belly and I feel like vomiting, LOL !

It's such a pain to take so many pills.

You only take 1 (one) Magnesium pill you said ???
If so...which brand please, and where to get ?

Thanks !

Aschatan:
Actually it is in a pack that I got from Vitamin World. I got the "Daily Vitamin Packs" for Woman by Natural Wealth. In the pack it has Magnesium 350 mg along with other supplements, the entire pack includes Multi-Vitamin, Vitamin C with Rose Hips, Multi- Mineral, Calcium & Magnesium.
It just says to take one packet daily with a meal, I went this way because I was taking the other supplements any way... so I just got a better deal this way. I was looking at others however, and they said to take one pill a day with food, and not to take it within 2 hours of other meds due to the absorption factor, and they were 250 & 500 mg per pill.
How much do you take? How often?
God Bless
Bambilynn

well.. I hope it helps... and if it does good for you, I will look into it also... but after just one day, I really think its more of a placebo affect right now...be careful though... too much magnesium is no good also...
