Are you taking an anti-depressant? That could be a side effect of the medication, which can cause invasive and unusual thoughts.
In any case, these thoughts should be talked about with a doctor. Especially if they are thoughts of doing harm to yourself or others. What kind of thoughts are you having and how often does it occur? It doesn't make you crazy, it happens to a lot of people with mood disorders.
sure i have them all the time... i dont want them and dont like having them... but i have OCD so it comes with the territory.. if the thoughts you are having bother you and you think to yourself "oh crap i dont want to be thinking this" or "this is disturbing" they are whats called intrusive thoughts..and usually a pretty good sign of OCD.. but you really should talk to your DR. about this either way..
there are ways of dealing with intrusive thoughts and OCD without meds because i know you dont like them.. but you have to take the first step and see someone about your problems.
Don't give up yet. No matter how bad it may seem, it's not hopeless. The meds will make you feel worse before you get better, don't write them off yet. And if you saw someone and they didn't help, then they clearly weren't the right person for you. Keep looking! You can get better if you really work for it! There is someone out there that can help you, you just have to keep looking.
