Cronic Fatigue by anxiety

I have been completly exhausted since my anxiety/panic started in January. I no longer have the full blown attacks (that ended in February) but I do suffer from the lovely symptoms which include walking around like I'm in a dream, always wondering if an attck is going to set in, foggy feeling, etc. I am on Celexa and when needed klonopin. I have been on klonopin for 5 months (less than .5 mg, I cut the pill in quarters and take just a quarter) and 10 mg of celexa for about 3 weeks. Even before the medication started - always tired. I am so tired somedays that I can't finish a full day of work. Eventually I am going to run out of sick time and don't want to lose my job.

Does anyone else have the fatigue? Do you think it is caused by anxiety? Any suggestions? Thanks for listening.

Re: Cronic Fatigue by anxiety

Anxiety can definitely leave you feeling fatigued since your body is on "heightened alert" all the time, as can depression, which sometimes coexists with anxiety.

Yes I've got that going on right now, I just don't feel like doing anything and even with adequate sleep I still don't feel rested. As another poster mentioned too, I feel like I am seldom relaxed.
