since you don't list your age, its hard to tell. at 32 yrs old, i had same thing. i thought it was menopause as my mom had had similar problems at that age. she'd already had 6 of us kids.
dr laughed, "no way menopause, way to young" dr didn't even check my hormone levels. said it was anxiety attacks, gave me xanax for anxiety, which did seem to help for a while. come to find out, i did have panic attacks but that was not the cause. several yrs , miserable yrs later, after having cramps and bleeding heavily, dr gave me a total hysterectomy. problem solved.
but now i have other issues, unrelated. pain management for severe osteoporosis, scholiosis, rhematoid arthritis.

will need help regarding pain meds in that area.
