Switching to or from Lexapro to Celexa - Anxiety Message Board

Has anyone switched from Celexa to Lexapro or Lexapro to Celexa with success. I have many twice and my Dr. thinks that pharmalogically.....it makes no sense but he said if it worked once...why not try it again.

I swithced from Lexapro to Celexa. But gave it a few months in between. Celexa is not as strong. I personally like it better than Lexapro. What are you switching to?

I actually am going from 10mg to 20mg of Lexapro starting today. If this does not work I make try to go back to Celexa. My doc thinks that if Lexapro doesnt work then Celexa wont right now. I have switched from lexapro to Celexa 3 years ago and it worked great. I am hoping moving to 20mg to Lexapro works. I love Celexa and am ****ed it pooped out

40mg of Celexa for 2 1/2 years was the best I have ever felt. I loved it. I liked Lexapro the first time but not as great as Celexa. Celexa was an A+ for me while Lexapro was an A-. The dr thinks that the two drugs are the same and if one works the other should but switching after a poop out makes no sense to him. Although....i have the history to show him that it does.
