Prozac and alcohol?
I am on fluoxetine (the generic for prozac) for anxiety... and the instructions say i shouldnt drink alcohol excessively. I drink very rarely, but yesterday I got really drunk and I am having a lot of anxiety over whether i will have some reaction to it or something.

The only reason I could think of drinking while taking fluoxetine is bad, is because Fluoxetine might strain your liver. (just a guess) so if i just drank a lot that one time would it really be serious? I dont know... if anyone knows anything about this, please help!

I am on fluoxetine too and as far as I know they say not to drink alcohol while taking antidepressants because it will simply make prozac not work. It's pretty self-explanatory, no offense, alcohol is a depressant and prozac is an antidepressant.
