Ears and face feeling hot

For the last few days it seems when i am on the phone talking alot, my ears and face start to get really hot. Now maybe it has nothing to do with the phone but it has happened only 2 times and both times i was on the phone. Both ears and both cheeks got very warm. I was stressed the 1st time on the phone i was dealing with cable problems. I thought at first it was my blood pressure going up but i have never had this happen and my blood pressure is always fine. Could just a little bit of stress cause this?? I have been doing so well lately now this is starting and freaking me out. After it happened last nite i started getting chills and then went to bed, i woke up sweating a few hours later. Maybe im just getting sick, i duno. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: Ears and face feeling hot

It sounds like anxiety. I say this because when I am anxious I get the same symptoms. Symptoms of anxiety can vary alot.

I agree with Moth. I have had this happen lately too. I even borrowed my dad's blood pressure cuff to check my BP. But it has been fine. So, I really think that anxiety can come at you in MANY different forms. Your body is trying to tell you something...and usually it is just that you need to relax. Good luck and I am sure you are fine.

Re: Ears and face feeling hot

You are probably blushing. I have that happen a lot when I am frustrated with someone. I usually have to take a break and relax. It doesn't have anything to do with blood pressure, I am in decent shape and have an excellent BP, it is just anxiety rearing its ugly head again. The best thing to do is breath through it or take a small break regain composure and come back to what you were doing. It is kind of embarassing because you start wondering if anyone can see your face getting red which makes it more red. Typical anxiety type problem. LOL. Don't worry about health related issues, just remember to breath.
