Why am I getting worse? Need advice. - Anxiety Message Board

My anxiety has now developed into depression. I don't know what is wrong with me. My health has been giving me issues and I know that plays a part, but I have 2 beautiful kids, great family, young....I just hate feeling this way. I want to cry all day long.
My therapist is on vacation and I can't even call. Maybe I need a switch of meds. I am currently on Paxil(weaning off) and Klonopin. I am currenly taking .5 mgs of Klonopin when I wake, should I take another .5 later in the day? Maybe that would help.
I am so sad!
(For Ladies)Also I wonder if it could be harmones..... I am due for my monthly and for the past week have been super depressed and anxiouse... anyone experience this?

It could be that you are weaning off of Paxil. It happens. Also to make your self more copmfortable try taking additional klonopin in the afternoon. (make sure OK with your dr. first. If he is on vacation then ask to speak to an associate.

I was taking Klonopin at one point it it did cause me depression. Just a thought.

Also, alot of us women on the board feel a bit worse when due for our monthly.

I am currently weaning off of celexa and some days I feel worse but then again my goal is to clean out my system of all drugs and start over if need be. It is scary for me.

Weaning off of the medication is probably causing your symptoms. Why are you quitting the Paxil?

I took a full dose of Paxil this morning, I just couldnt handle it and I also took .5 mg of Klonopin. I feel the Paxil is not doing anything for me anymore and I have been on it for 7 years.
I am so scared of this feeling. I want more then anything to be happy !!
Should I take Xanax later in the afternoon or just take another Klonopin?

Taking one full does of paxil is not going to do anything, as it takes weeks to reach a level of effectiveness at whatever dosage you take. Just use our klonopin or xanax. If you started today with the klonopin, i think i would finish out the day with that.
You are feeling like garbage probably as a combo of the weening and your monthly, since your hormone levels are up. I am always most anxious at that time.
