Lamictal messed me up! - Anxiety Message Board

i have been on this for over a month! my memory is really bad and i actually get embarrassed over it. my spelling is horrible . last night i had night sweats and i got really scared because i never had that before. i searched on here and found a lot of symptoms that i have. i have bad headaches , im lost for words and very spacey. i dont know the difference between Know/NO! thats bad because i knew all that before i started this .. everyone is different when it comes to pills. well after reading all this on the net i decided to throw them out because i want my MEMORY back and i wanna feel normal. my anxiety is back again and i thought it helps with that

i threw them all in the trash. i took 2 of them before i read all this stuff about the drug.
well anyways , im wondering if im gonna go thru a withdrawal because i wont take them again. im also on Neurontin << just started that about 2 weeks ago.
l have weired dreams and go to the bathroom more and so on....
i hope this makes sense because im very spacey from this pill. thank god for spell check! ......thanks ! can you please share if you been thru this

Are you taking lamictal as an anxiety pill or anti-seizure? I've been on lamictal for about 15 years for seizure control. I started having memory problems about 2 years ago, but I am 55. Are you seeing a neurologist? If you are going to stop taking lamictal, you should wean off. Don't just stop taking it. Major problems can occur! I took neurontin for about 1 year. I don't remember (ha) the side effects, but I was taken off of it.

Good luck to you. You sound like a young person. I hope you get straightened out with the meds.

was taking them for Anxiety and it worked for about 2 weeks. i never had a seizure but im afraid i might because i did throw the Lamictal away right after i found out about the symptoms because i did get scared. im 37 not young

it must be the way i type or something LOL. like i said the pill messed me up. cant type and i make no sense at all when i talk to people.

what kind of problems will i get? i was only o it for over a moth . do you think I'll be ok?
