Good morning Anxiety-stinks. You have already taken a good step in acknowledging your problems. The fact that you realize how you feel and act are affecting others and your life. It sounds like you have already taken some steps with meds. Have you tried therapy? If not that would be my advice to you. It has helped me a lot. I've still got a long ways to go but at least I'm on the right track finally. I, like yourself, can be very agitated, get mad easy and at times be a pain to be around. I'm also depressed due to recent events in my life. I've started to try and take control of my life though and change it for the better. I tend to get down on myself when I do the negative things, but I try and remind myself that I'm working on it and things can't change over night.
You are on the right track at least. Just keep on that and working on yourself. Try therapy if you haven't yet. Also you have a great resource in your wife. I imagine she knows your better then most ppl so she might be able to give you insight and help you help yourself.
