Anyone on Lexapro...what side effects did you have? - Anxiety Message Board

Has anyone else on Lexapro had sexual side effects (decreased libido and anorgasmia), and if so did they go away after awhile? I was on Lex a couple years ago and stopped taking it for those very reasons. I really felt good on it, so I went back on it. I'm going to give it more time. Hopefully these SUCKY side effects will go away with time.

I had all kinds of side effects but they went away after a few weeks on it. I'm so glad I stuck it out! I think that's the worst part...the first few weeks. If it helped before maybe you should give it a try again.

I did start back on it a couple weeks ago. What were the side effects you had?

I felt really good on Lex the first time I was on it, my mom and bf even said how much better I was without my having to say anything. I stopped taking because of that side effect. I just started back on it again because I did feel so good on it. I'm feeling better after just 2 weeks. I'm going to give it more time this time to see if the side effect goes away (keep your fingers crossed for me).
