| Anxiety - Weigh Loss
I have GAD. Has anyone loss weight due to anxiety? I lost about 20 pounds in about 4-6 weeks...which is the main focus of my anxiety right now. I wanted to loose a few pounds, but not so sudden. I am on a mission now to gain 10 pounds. My appetite is back to normal so I am sure the weight will not take too long to come back (I HOPE). I work for a dr office and there are scales everywhere. One morning I made the mistake of weighing myself..knowing I probably had not gained any weight..and sent my self in a frenzie because I actually thought I loss a few more pounds. That was almost 2 weeks ago. I am trying hard not to get on the scale right now. I had a therapist tell me having anxiety burns calories. I finally got up the nerve to take meds...I am on clonozapam (sp) 1/2 pill. The good thing about this med..I take it as needed. I take it when I feel my self getting anxious/tensing up and the tightness around my throat. I would like to hear from others that has lost weight.
