brush burn feeling on skin from anxiety?

Does anyone ever get this feeling with anxiety? I don't understand how these symptoms can be from anxiety when you really don't feel anxious when it happens. I could see having this while having an anxiety attack, but not while your just sitting there doing nothing. Anyone have this?

Re: brush burn feeling on skin from anxiety?

Well I guess I'm alone on this one. Seems that nobody else experiences this. I guess I need to have more testing done.

Did you feel this burn while on a med or during an anxiety attack..im confused. I just started wellbutrin on my 6th day today and the reason i came to this site was because i was feeling a burn on forearms for three days and was looking for feedback.

let me know

Re: brush burn feeling on skin from anxiety?

HI!

For about a year I suffered with severe anxiety and worriedness about my health on a daily basis. I did not suffer from panick attacks, but I did experience alot of strange sensations on my skin and body at that time.
It would scare the crap out of me. It could be when I was wathcing tv or something else and I was not feeling anxious at all.

Fortunetaly I am much better now, and all those sensations disappeared.

Hope this helps...

Re: brush burn feeling on skin from anxiety?

Hello everyone that responded to my post. I was not taking no meds, and I was not having an anxiety/panic attack while this happens. It appears from nowhere. I have had many tests done, and they all tell me that everything is normal. I also suffer from migraines, so I was wondering if this has anything to do with it. Thanks for the replies, at least I know that its not a rare occurance.

Jennifer

hey jennifer,
i think i might be experiencing the same thing as you, where my skin gets very hot or warm. Is that how you are feeling as well? I am also taking Effexor and Seroquel..
