I have recently gone through a number of somewhat stressful medical procedures and still have several more to go. This has been very stressful on me since I suffer from GAD and Panic Disorder already. The other day my own dog bit me for the first time since I've had him (over 2 years) and this was also very stressful for me. Finally, I have ulnar nerve entrapment in my left arm so my hand/wrist/arm on that side tends to experience muscle twitches, "pins and needles" and other weird sensations.
I guess my "point" (or question, rather) is if anxiety normally causes things like muscle twitches, pins and needles, goose pimples, aches and pains in the neck (like a "kink" in the neck or something). I realize part of this is my ulnar nerve problem but could a lot of this just be plain old anxiety?.
PS: I just took an Ativan (I've been taking them for years) and I'm still twitchy/jumpy along with pins and needles, etc.
Thanks so much for listening and I hope someone can help.
