| This seems logical or not !!
I have been getting air hunger attacks really badly for past 2 months now, as some may already know here.
Nothing much is working , Prozac doesnt seem to stop it in full flow, CBT training has just started so early days there yet. But ive been trying to put the peices of the jigsaw together as i cant pin point why these episodes happen at all.
I lost a lot of weight in last year (about 55lbs) and when i was fatter i suffered from sleep apnea, or episodes of waking up and not breathing so gasping for a breath!! Since i lost weight i havent suffered from it , until this past 2 weeks as my anxiety levels are going through the roof.
But the other thing i wanted advice on is this....
Ive now been waking up in the night from a sleep trying to swallow and not being able to. its almost like my muscles in my throat have shut down while im sleeping, and i have to wake fully to be able to swallow, it just doesnt happen unless i force it to. What on earth is that? could it be related to the anxiety, or could something be happening to me while imsleeping, i feel like im stoping breathing and swallowing when im asleep, almost like my body is shutting right down. Anyone else experienced this at all please?
