St. John's Wort And Valerian

Has anyone taken St. johns wort and valerian also? The person at the store said it was ok. I have some anxiety and mild depression. I wondered if anyone has taken either or both and how does it work? Thanks

Also, I like the Nature's Way St John's wort.
It has a really nice flower smell.
They make 2 versions of the ST Johns wort.
One thats just Valerian root, which is the one i get
The ingredients are (Stem, Leaf, Flower)

The other one also has the (Stem, Leaf, Flower)
It adds Rosemary and Spirulina.

I take the Target Store brand for the Valerian root.

Re: St. John's Wort And Valerian

Ive used them both from time to time. Its hard to tell how much it helps as I usually start taking them as anxiety flares up, then when Im feeling better I tend to stop taking them. I know they should be taken continuously for best results, but I seem to forget when Im feeling good.

Anyone tried any Sam-E products? They're kinda spendy but look somewhat promising.

Not sure how Sam -E is for depression because I didn't take it long enough. It made me not want to eat.
The velarian that I have tried helps with better sleep but it smells so bad!!!!
I worry that it makes my breath smell that way lol.
