Yes it does! You are correct in not eating will contribute, but let alone Black Friday, in a store with frenzied customers, is enough to make anyone uncomfortable and hot.
So now the feeling of the previous day has trickled over to the next, the feeling of not being able to escape, drive thru's are like cattle lined up being led to the slaughter.-I experience the same as you, best way I can deal with it, (although uncomfortable) is when I am coming up in line behind someone, I allow more space than usual between us, I mean, the person who will pull up behind me is not going to get to the teller any quicker being 2 inches off my bumper. But it allows me to breathe, to not feel constricted. I do the same at the 2ft wide aisle in the grocery store, I am not up on their cart, I stand in front of mine with the cart behind me, so I can move, glance at a magazine, able to actually bend over to put my items on the checkout. To give a subtle hint to the ones who are behind me, I lean over my cart, and rest my arms, and my body is at a 6:10-6:15 time position-it my subtle way of saying goodness sake, must you cage me in and run into my heels of my feet, so you can grab the stupid stick to start loading your milk, bread and 20 items on the last 6 inches left on the checkout. I have never gotten a honked horn, or one comment from doing this, yet. If I did, I wouldn't change a thing, I'd probably tell them a few things that really didn't wish to hear, let alone the other shoppers.
Hang in there!
