My experience is that one needs outside help in some sort or other.
Whether it be a General Practitioner, a Therapist, Psychiatrist, self-help books, or going to your church of preference for faith/guidance, it's hard to do it alone.
If you decide to go the "drug" route, there's tons of medications now for GAD.
Therapists can help you get to the root of your problem.
You shouldn't have to live with anxiety everyday of your life.
Reach out and seek help in, at least, one of those avenues.
I've been where you live, and it's beautiful. Take some long walks on the beach & get in touch with your inner self.
Remember to breathe.....Breathing, in itself, is calming.
Remember what Dr. Phil says, "I want you to get excited about your life!"
