| Prozac and alcohol
Ive been taking 20mg Prozac a day at approx 12 noon for 8 mths.
Im happy with it, but if i have just one glass yes ONE glass of sparkling or flat wine, i feel quite drowsy and drunk. I can usually sink a whole bottle (pre Prozac) !! but since ive started taking it i cant tolerate even a small amount of booze.
I know im not supposed to mix the two but my Doc said the odd glass of wine or 3 wont hurt. But it scares me as i feel i couldnt function correctly even with the smallest of amounts.
Anyone have any input on this please?
