Started taking acne medicine, now feeling bad - Anxiety Message Board

Two weeks ago I was having some of the best times of my life, I was looking forward to getting up for school since summer is almost here, then I started taking an acne medicine called minocycline. I've been on it for nearly two weeks and now starting to feel pretty bad. I don't know if it could be at all associated with the medication, but for the past three days i've had some of the absolute worst anxiety/depression I have ever felt. I have never felt this way before and i'm very worried about it, could the medication be at all linked?

Yes it can. I know you wrote this a few weeks ago but I hope you have told one of your parents about this. Godbless

I haven't told them, i don't really think I can, they already think of me as very hypocondriatic. I don't see how a medicine for zits could mess with me mentally, i'm just gonna wait this out till mid June when the prescription is out, lol
