Stressed today - Anxiety Message Board

I am putting on a Red hat luncheon for 7 ladies tommorrow and getting ready today... in my home. I suffer from anxiety............. I joined this group to get me out of the house........... Red hat is a womens group who wear red and purple......... It may seem silly to have anxiety having this luncheon. but it is underlying anxiety. I just needed to vent...
I think this came on from the hot summer we are having in Arizona here.. It has been 114 degrees last week and this week 109.... . The excessive heat brings on anxiety. I really dread going out in the heat......any more...

We have similar groups here in Canada as well. There are a couple of shops near my home that make the most beautiful red and purple hats.

i get this way with the heat too.

i think its the fear of heat stroke, heat related health problems that make me not want to go out in it. even if i am totally hydrated!

updated I just had the luncheon today at my home and I handled it really well......... they brought gifts to me. also as a suprise....
